KILTA exists to help people find others nearby who share similar interests, then get offline.

The social networks we need are the ones that cannot be tracked and monetized. Offline networks. Local networks. Small groups of people learning things, making things, helping each other, and having fun outside the feed.

A system like this would never be built by big tech because there is no profit incentive. KILTA has no profiles, no follower counts, no fake credit system, and no reason to keep you scrolling.

The point is that you should not spend time on KILTA. Name your interests, find a gathering, go outside, learn stuff, and have fun.
